New Video Search Portal on Internet Services
« on: March 27, 2016, 04:25:53 PM »
We are currently working on a new server hosted app for video searching. It isn't finished...and the search history is global. Someone has found it...and their searches are now in the record. So Adult Searches are there for all to see.  :o

We reloaded the default history, and made it read only for now.

We where looking for a Vimeo solution, but have ended up with a three service search engine instead. So each search finds videos from Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion. The videos come via the new Trailer Source.

We have got the Search History Filter working...

If any terms appear in the History you  don't like please PM.

For those who haven't found it, it's the old Youtube link on Internet Services.

Ytapi withdrew support. Currently developing alternative.

The link will  be doing strange things. Starting with finding a html5 video player that  works

The link is currently demonstrating playing trailers using new code.  Its working in principle.

The link has been running VideoSearchXL  on and off for a few days. Now have Youtube and Vimeo showing movies...but Dailymotion is still an issue.  Its a known bug in Youtube-dl  that  the developers keep saying is fixed.

Youtube-dl is only working for Vimeo by finding dash mpd files.  Those cannot be used. So  for now I have excluded Vimeo and Dailymotion until they work at the lower level.

Overnight problems where caused by my server host ignoring requests to use older version of PHP. I am now requesting a supported version and so  far its working.
